Lewin is one of the last progeny by leading British based National Hunt Sire Kayf Tara as he was retired from stud in 2020.  He was broken in by Martin Jones at Red Marley in Gloucestershire in the autumn of 2024 and has joined us at here at Edgcote in December 2024 where he has settled in well.  He will be given time to adjust to full training and brought along with the aim of running in a bumper, hopefully before the end year.  I likeable horse who has a good temperament to match his fine physique.

JUST FOUR FAME
2018
SEX: Gelding
GeldingBreeding: Fame And Glory x Justfour

Owner: The David Dennis Racing Club

Just Four Fame is the son of the late Fame And Glory and was purchased at the Goffs UK Spring Sale 2020.  He made his debut in a Maiden Point to Point at Maisemore as a 5yo, in March 2022, finishing second where he travelled and jumped well.  He also ran again at Chaddesley Corbett where, again, he finished second. This was then followed by a running on 3rd in the Goffs UK Point to Point Bumper at Aintree, in May 2022, where he ran on strongly from a long way back in the field proving he has plenty of stamina.  He has been a challenge to train having only had one run in two season, however he is now back in full training and we look forward to getting him back on the racecourse.

LIBOR LAD

2018

SEX: Gelding

Breeding: Passing Glance x Sonic Weld

Owner: Wingates Associates Limited

Libor Lad was purchased at the Goffs UK Spring Sale at Doncaster in May 2021 as a store.  After some promising runs in bumpers and novice hurdles he fulfilled his promise having a great 2023/24 season over hurdles winning twice and filling the runner up spot three times.  His first win at Uttoxeter in November under Theo Gillard was a great day for his owner Gary Hartland who was present with his daughters.  He followed up at Doncaster in February under Brian Hughes by a comfortable 10 lengths travelling and jumping well throughout.  He has the size and scope to develop into a chaser in the long term and will hopefully give his owner Wingate Associates continued fun on the racecourse.
