With only 18 individual runners and a total of 63 runs throughout the season, our win and place prize money amounted to £32,397.  Our winners and placed horses to runners’ strike rate was 40%compared to 41% the previous season.  If you were a betting person, last season could've made you a tidy profit — a £1 stake on every runner would have returned an impressive £146.50!"

The first winner of the 2024/25 season was Time Interval winning at Hereford in May 2024 for owners, Clan McNeil, under a fine ride from Tom Bellamy who did well to hold him after being far too keen for the first mile and a half of the race.  Having owned racehorses for many years, this win was made even more special for Peter McNeil of Clan McNeil, not only being at his local track but it was also the first time he had ever been at the races when one of his horses had won!

Kally Des Bruyeres gave The Close Shave Partnership reason to celebrate when winning at Huntingdon in November.  Jockey Charlie Todd managed to just hold on at the and win by a neck at a massive 200-1!

Following on from the previous season, Gasmani has followed in his big brothers’ footsteps showing consistency throughout the season for owners Hardwick, Wright, Richmond and bringing in minor placings.  The softer ground and longer trip over 2m4f at Carlisle saw a close 4th before finishing the season off with a 3rd at Chepstow over 2m7f.

Hobie just missed getting his nose in front at Taunton over a 2m5f handicap Chase under Sam Twiston-Davies only being beaten 1-length.  He then followed up with another decent second at Warwick.

David Dennis Racing Club horse, Just Four Fame, finished his season off in March with a fine 2nd only beaten ¾ length under Tom Bellamy at Warwick in a novice handicap hurdle.  Imperial Pride came back under rules this season also for The David Dennis Racing Club after a successful time point-to-pointing in the Spring of 2024.  She had a couple of runs over fences, the latter running into third place at Market Rasen under Tom Bellamy this race activated The Jockey Club Mares Maiden Bonus which she gained when she won the Mares Final at Chaddesley Corbett in May 2024.  This bonus doubled the prize money won for third of £880.88!  We are very much looking forward to getting Imperial Pride back in training after frustratingly missing the remainder of the season due to injury.

David Dennis Racing has had a great start to the season, statistically standing with a 38% strike rate of runners to winners overall and accumulated £21,931 in prize money already.

Time Interval has built on his maiden hurdle win last May and gone on to win twice more this season at Stratford (above) and Warwick, following up with a 2nd at Uttoxeter all under Adam Wedge.  An enthusiastic horse who likes to be up with the pace in his races, Time Interval has risen 20lbs since last year and we are looking forward to him continuing into the autumn.

Ballynaheer has also continued on from last season finishing 3rd at Warwick over a 3-mile chase under Johnathon Burke.

We were delighted to see Hobie get his nose in front last month in a 2m 4f handicap hurdle at Worcester under a prominent ride from Sam Twiston-Davies where he battled on well to win by a neck, defying a 402-day layoff.

We look forward to bringing on some of our youngstock this season.  Georgemani, half-brother to old stable favourites, Cyclop and Innisfree Lad, as well as newcomer, Gasmani (below).  Georgemani has had a run in a point-to-point for experience, and we now hope to start off in bumpers prior to a hurdling career.

New to the yard this season is the last of Tasmani’s progeny – Maxiani, who we look forward to training up and hope she can fulfil her big brothers’ hooves.
