We have busy weekend ahead with a total of 7 declarations over Saturday & Sunday (26th & 27th November).
Bangor-on-Dee is our first port of call on Saturday with three runners; Un Anjou, Wade Harper & Tyre Hill. Un Anjou (pictured above)Â is making a comeback after a spell on the sidelines for owners Superdream Racing and will line up in the Bangor Annual Membership Available 1st December Handicap Chase (12.00). Thrice a winner over fences, Un Anjou is a consistent horse and we are looking forward to seeing him back on the racecourse.
Wade Harper will be next in the spotlight as he is set for the Ginger Mccain Memorial Handicap Chase (Qualifier For The Challenger Staying Chase Series Final) (1.05) for owners Favourites Racing (Syndication) Ltd 4. Wade Harper has made a promising start to his chasing career finishing 4th & 5th respectively on his first two appearances over the large obstacles and this step up to 3 miles should not inconvenience him.
Tyre Hill will be our final runner tomorrow at the Welsh track for owners D D Racing & Professor L P Hardwick as he has a declaration in the Bangor Interactive Novices´ Handicap Chase (1.40). Tyre Hill has always looked a chaser in the making and after a few runs over hurdles, he will now make the switch to the larger obstacles.
Gavin Sheehan will be the man on board for all of our runners at Bangor tomorrow.
We are set to have one runner in the form of Seven Kingdoms at Doncaster on Saturday as he receives a declaration in the Rugby Betting At 188Bet Intermediate Handicap Hurdle (2.30) for owners L P Hardwick & partner with Trevor Whelan booked to take the ride here. Seven Kingdoms pulled up at Chepstow last time out so we are hoping he can put that run behind him this time and replicate the promise shown when winning at Kempton back in January.
Heading back South will be Roman Flight who has received a declaration in the bet365 Handicap Chase (For The Jim Joel Memorial Trophy) (3.45) at Newbury tomorrow in addition to his engagement at the same track today (Friday) where he is set to line up in the bet365 Open Handicap Chase. Roman Flight has been running very well throughout the Summer and ran with much credit once again last time out when 4th in the Byrne Group Handicap Chase (Listed Race) at Ascot.
Sunday sees our runners staying slightly closer to home with Godsmejudge & Rebel Beat heading to Leicester.
Godsmejudge receives a declaration in the Wymeswold Veterans´ Handicap Chase (Leg 10 Of The Veterans´ Chase Series) (1.00) for owners Favourites Racing Ltd. Godsmejudge ran well last time out at Cheltenham earlier in the month to finish 7th and we are hopeful he can give another good account of himself again here.
Rebel Beat will be our final runner of the weekend as he is set to line up in the Fernie Novices´ Hurdle (2.05) for owners The Ferandlin Peaches. Rebel Beat will be having just his second start over hurdles on Sunday under Adrian Heskin after finishing 7th on his debut at Aintree earlier in November.
