Three Meetings In One Day
Posted on 16th October 2014
It’s set to be a busy Friday tomorrow for the David Dennis Racing team with our runners attending no less than three meetings.
Angus Glens makes the long trek to Redcar to take part in a race for Lady Amateur riders over a trip of 1m2f with Miss Georgina Friswell in the plate.
Whilst Angus Glens heads North, Roman Flight stays much closer to home and takes his chance at Cheltenham in the Conditional jockeys Handicap Hurdle over the extended 2 mile trip. This is a particularly exciting time for our young conditional Shane Quinlan who gets the leg up for the first time not only for David but in England, having ridden in Ireland previously.
The last runner of the day is My Mo who is our evening performer at Wolverhampton under the floodlights. This consistent 2yo colt is really warming to his task of late and having been beaten only by the very narrowest of margins on his last two appearances, deserves to get his head in front.
We really hope he can go one better as he takes part in the 8.50 at Dunstall Park over a trip of 7f with Kieren Fallon doing the steering.
Finally we schooled Ballybough Andy and Key To The West over fences this morning. Though it was a little misty both schooled really well and are set to make their seasonal debuts next week along with Tyre Hill Lady who will face obstacles for the first time.
