Setting The Trend For A Pleasing Couple Of Weeks

Posted on 01st April 2015

SetThe Trend was the easy winner of the Wye Valley Brewery Novices’ Hurdle at Ludlow on 19th March where jockey Noel Fehily only really had to steer the 9yo gelding to land only his second start over hurdles.
The son of Reset was always travelling well before taking up the running two out and going on easily to score by 9 lengths.
Since then we have experienced a pleasing couple of weeks where the majority of all of our horses have been running well and in the main have all been making the frame with Tyre Hill, Wade Harper & Hawdyerwheesht all running very well to be runners up and just 3 days earlier than Set The Trend’s victory, Marju’s Quest was the ready winner of the Bathwick Tyres Bridgwater Handicap Hurdle at Taunton under top weight on his re-appearance from a Winter break.

We hope that the horses continue to run so consistently and that we can also pick up another few winners along the way.
