Rebel Benefits From Huntingdon Trip

Posted on 31st May 2016

Bank Holiday Monday saw us with three runners at Huntingdon which all finished in the first three home!

The first runner of the day was The Big Dipper who finished a very respectable third in the Retirement Apartments On Huntingdon High Street Handicap Chase on just his second start over fences under Sam Twiston-Davies for owners The Lucky Seven.

Our second runner of the day, again partnered by Sam Twiston-Davies was Rebel Benefit who after pulling up over fences last time at Newton Abbot, appeared to enjoy yesterday much more and was soon in command before two out to land the Racing UK Day Pass Just £10 Handicap Hurdle by a comfortable by 15 lengths. Owners Rose Farm Developments (UK) Ltd & partner have had to be pretty patient waiting for Rebel Benefit to find his feet under rules but it was very much worth the wait yesterday as he romped home clear of the rest of the field.

Deauville Dancer was our third and final runner at the Cambridgeshire course yesterday and ran well to finish second in the Racing UK In Glorious HD Maiden Hurdle partnered by Aidan Coleman. Deauville Dancer has been consistently placed for owners Favourites Racing (Syndication) Ltd 10 and it is sure not to be long before he finds himself in the winners enclosure.

Today (Tuesday) we have Rebel Benefit making a quick re-appearance in the Yardley Gobion Handicap Chase 3.40 at Towcester along with Norse Light who is set to line up earlier in the day at the Northamptonshire track in the Alderton Handicap Chase where both horses will once again be partnered by Sam Twiston-Davies
