King’s Song Reigns Over Worcester Rivals

Posted on 10th September 2015

King’s Song made a winning seasonal debut on Tuesday evening (8th September) with victory in the New Hope “Hands And Heels” Handicap Hurdle (for Conditional Jockeys And Amateur Riders) (Div II) at our local track, Worcester.

The 5yo gelding was having his 9th career start having shown glimmers of potential last season in both bumpers and over hurdles. The son of King’s Theatre has matured & strengthened throughout the Summer months and he put up a nice performance to take up the lead after two from home and stick to his task well, despite the race being a hands & heels affair where riders are not allowed to use their whips, to hang on by a neck.

King’s Song is sure to progress further for this confidence instilling performance and there are still shares available for syndication in this progressive young horse.
