High Five To A Four-Timer!

Posted on 07th April 2015

Well what an amazing weekend for David Dennis Racing!

We notched up a fantastic across the card, 1349-1 four-timer on Bank Holiday Monday taking our Easter weekend total to 5 winners.

The star of the show has to be good old Maller Tree who won on Easter Saturday 4th April at Newton Abbot under Sam Twiston-Davies and then again just 2 days later on Monday 6th April under yard conditional Shane Quinlan at Huntingdon for owners Favourites Racing.

Maller Tree was responsible for landing the first leg of the four-timer on Monday at Huntingdon when he won the  Peterborough School Conditional Jockeys’ Training Series H’cap Hurdle and was quickly followed up just two races later by Lucky Jim winning the Dalton Philips Juvenile Handicap Hurdle under Keiron Edgar for owners DD Racing & Professor L P Hardwick.

The third leg of the four-timer was won by Anginola when she won the Harry And Betty Savill Memorial Novices’ Handicap Hurdle at Plumpton, staying on well under Dougie Costello at a massive 20-1 for owners Help With Numbers.

The fourth & final winner of the day & indeed the fifth of the Easter weekend was Wade Harper. This full brother to World Hurdle winner Cole Harden landed the spoils cosily winning the 32Red Maiden Open National Hunt Flat Race at Market Rasen under Aidan Coleman for owners Favourites Racing.

Two of our other runners on the day also ran well in the shape of Steel Summit finishing 3rd at Market Rasen & Un Anjou finishing 4th at Plumpton.
