Fled Or Pled Flies To First Victory At Towcester
Posted on 06th October 2016
Yesterday saw us move one step closer to the 100 winner mark with victory number 94, when Fled Or Pled bounded up the hill at Towcester Racecourse to land the Agetur UK “National Hunt” Novices’ Handicap Hurdle for owners Favourites Racing (Syndication) Ltd 8
The 4yo son of Shantou was having the 6th start of his career and appreciated every yard of the trip and demanding track at Towcester, responding to every urge of jockey Jamie Bargary to land the race at odds of 40-1, winning by 2 1/4 lengths.
Fled Or Pled is a buzzy type and it has taken him a while to learn to settle both at home and on the racecourse. Head Lad Billy Worthington who rides Fled Or Pled during most of his work and during schooling sessions has been using his knowledge & patience on a daily basis to help the horse relax and it has really paid off.
Today it is the turn of Lostock Hall to make an appearance as he takes up an engagement in the 4.40 at Exeter this afternoon with jockey James King taking the ride.
