Double Vision

Posted on 25th November 2015

Monday 23rd November saw a very welcome double achieved by King’s Song & Show Me Again.

King’s Song was making his chasing debut at Ludlow and was partnered by the in form Brian Hughes. He travelled well throughout the race and a step up to 3 miles combined with a round of exceptionally accurate jumping allowed him to come home very cosily to land the Last Day Racing UK Free Trial Novices’ Handicap Chase with his nearest rival 12 lengths away in second.

Show Me Again was also on great form that day to land the Bet toteplacepot Nursery Handicap at Chelmsford City by over 4 lengths ridden by Martin Lane. Held up in the last pair early on in the race, he was switched to the outside within the last 2 furlongs and took up the lead with a furlong to run to come home an easy winner.

It’s great to see the horses hitting form recently and long may it continue.
