Boxing Day Declarations

Posted on 23rd December 2016

The declarations are all closed now for one of the busiest days in the National Hunt calendar – Boxing Day and here at David Dennis Racing we can look forward to three runners at Market Rasen.

Peppay Le Pugh will be lining up in the 12.35 the Rand Farm Park Sheepstake Novices´ Hurdle for owners Favourites Racing (Syndication) Ltd 7 with Paul Moloney booked to take the ride. Peppay Le Pugh was 6th last time out at Taunton in November and we are hoping that he can build on what was just his second start over hurdles.

Un Anjou will be our second runner of the afternoon in the 1.10 the All Round Family Fun Attraction Handicap Chase again with Paul Moloney doing the steering, this time for owners Superdream Racing – our yard sponsor.

Un Anjou ran really well at Bangor in November last time out after over twelve months off the track when finishing 2nd to the useful Colin’s Brother and we hope to see him put up another good performance on Boxing Day.

Godsmejudge will be our final runner of the day when he contests the 2.20 the Clugston Lincolnshire National Handicap Chase over a trip of 3m3f for owners Favourites Racing Ltd where he will be partnered by Zac Baker claiming a valuable 7lb. Godsmejudge ran very pleasingly at Doncaster earlier this month to finish 3rd under Zac and we are hoping that the partnership can put up a fine display once again.

We would like to wish all of our owners, supporters & suppliers a Very Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year from David & all of the team here at David Dennis Racing.
