50th Career Win

Posted on 21st May 2015

We were a little behind the times in realising but it seems that Retro Valley gave David his 50th career win as a licensed trainer at Redcar earlier this week on Monday 18th May.

Having totalled a very pleasing 32 winners in just our second full NH season here at Tyre Hill Racing Stables during the 2014/15 season as well as three winners on the flat so far in 2015 things are going nicely for the David Dennis Racing team.

The Vale Of York 3yo was winning for the second time in just five days when he landed the Zetland Gold Cup Monday 25th May Handicap (Div II) by an impressive 7l under 3lb claimer Shane Gray.

Retro Valley has not been the only one in the winners enclosure this week as Ballybough Pat was also victorious on Sunday 17th when taking the Mount & Minster Chartered Agricultural Land Agents Handicap Chase at Market Rasen under David Noonan who was taking a valuable 7lb off the top weight’s back.

The 8yo Waky Nao gelding was winning for the second time in succession having landed the spoils just four days previously at Kempton under Aidan Coleman.

Ballybough Pat’s most recent win took us to three winners so far for the new 2015/16 NH season and with Set The Trend and Un Anjou both running well this week to finish 2nd at Stratford & Warwick we are eager for this season can be as good as or even better than the last.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our owners and followers for their continued support and we are hoping that our run of good fortune can continue.

Tomorrow evening sees the racecourse debut of 4yo Lucarno filly Bitter Virtue, who is owned by The Ferandlin Peaches and we wish them lots of luck on her maiden appearance at Worcester.
