Festival Fever

Like all racing yards, we are very excited now that Cheltenham Festival week is upon us.

We were hopeful of a run from Final Nudge in the Champion Bumper on Wednesday but unfortunately he fell victim to the ballot and failed to make it into the race.

However, we are due to have a runner in the shape of Roman Flight on the final day of the festival on Friday in the Vincent O´Brien County Handicap Hurdle.

The Antonius Pius gelding has been aimed at this race since putting up such a great display at Cheltenham when winning the Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle back in October.

Roman Flight had a short break over Christmas and has since had a prep run on the flat when running well at Kempton on the all-weather at the end of February.

This has hopefully put him right in a bid to represent David Dennis Racing & owners Favourites Racing in our first ever runner at the Cheltenham Festival, which the whole yard are very much looking forward to.
